Tata Motors Launches Two New Altroz Variants: Company Claims – Cheapest Premium Hatchback

Tata Motors has launched two new variants of the Altroz on Thursday, July 20. In the hatchback segment, the company made Rs. 6.89 lakh starting price of Altroz XM and Rs. Altroz has launched the XM(S) at a starting price of Rs 7.34 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom Delhi.

The company claims that the new XM(S) variant is Altroz’s most affordable premium hatchback with a sunroof. Both variants are powered by a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine, which will be available with a manual.

Altroz XM and XM(S): Features The company has given both variants steering-mounted controls, driver seat height adjuster, electrically adjustable ORVM, R16 full wheel covers and a premium looking dashboard. The Altroz XM(S) variant also gets an electric sunroof, which is not available on the Altroz XM variant.

In addition, customers can choose and fit the infotainment system of their choice from Tata Motors’ accessories catalogue. Along with this, the company has said that all manual petrol variants of Altroz will get 4 power windows and remote keyless entry feature as standard features.

In both variants, the company has offered a 1.2 liter Revotron petrol engine with a manual gearbox. This engine generates a power of 84.88bhp at 6000rpm and a peak torque of 113Nm at 3300rpm.
